Dr. Paul A. Kunkel, M.D., F.A.C.S. : Dr. Kunkel carries on the family name as the third generation of Kunkel Surgeons to serve the Harrisburg community. He received his undergraduate degree from Duke University, his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and completed his residency at the Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. He then proceeded to do a fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery in Kansas City. Dr. Kunkel specializes in anti-reflux, biliary tract,and hernia surgeries. In addition to being Board Certified, he is also a Member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons and serves on the medical staff of both Holy Spirit and Harrisburg Hospitals. |
