J. Bret DeLone, M.D, F.A.C.S. ::
Dr. Bret DeLone was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania. He attended Haverford College, went on to Temple Medical School and did his Residency at The University Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Dr. DeLone has been practicing with Kunkel Surgical Group since 1990. He has over 20 years of experience in gastrointestinal surgery including, stomach and colon surgery, surgical management of breast disease, endocrine surgery, abdominal wall hernias, laparoscopic techniques and surgical oncology, including melanoma. Dr. DeLone is proud of practicing in an atmosphere of clinical inquiry providing accurate diagnoses and operative intervention in an efficient and timely manner. He is Board Certified and re-certified in General Surgery. He is affiliated with both Pinnacle Health System and Holy Spirit Hospital where he is past President of the medical staff.
Dr. DeLone is a member of the Dauphin County Medical Society Board of Directors, the PAMPAC (The PAC for the Pennsylvania Medical Society) Board of Directors and has provided testimony before multiple Pennsylvania State Legislative Committees. He resides in Central Pennsylvania with his wife and three children. Dr. DeLone has also been a guest on multiple television and talk radio programs throughout Pennsylvania and authored multiple Op-Ed articles on Healthcare issues. On Saturday afternoons, he hosts a news radio program on WHP580 called “Medical Matters.” |
